Perth Causeway Underpath – Shared Pathway
> Safe and vivid coloured shared pathway for bicycles and pedestrian traffic
> Shared pathway surfacing system
The City of Victoria Park recognised that the state of the surfacing of the well-used Causeway Underpass was in need of upgrading as the surface was rough and gravelly, water was collecting in certain areas and the safety of its users (cyclists, walkers and runners), was questionable. It required upgrading to a more permanent and safer surface which would retain its colour and offer a much safer environment as well as an attractive finish that will complement the location of the pathway.
Antiskid Industries recommended the installation of OMNIGRIP CST surfacing system to the existing shared pathway to provide better clarity for all users in order to improve safety. Incorporating the unique brick red Synthite coloured aggregate material with a projected design life in excess of 10 years.
